Location Details

Thornapple River Nature Sanctuary is a conservation easement. The easement primarily protects upland forest both north and south of the Thornapple River near Hastings.

Although all MNA sanctuaries are open to the public, this sanctuary is restricted to minimal visitation and use. Due to difficulties related to sanctuary access and/or the sensitive nature of the habitat and species found here, anyone wishing to visit must receive permission from the MNA office.
