Location Details
This preserve reveals a riot of wetland flowers from spring to fall, with an October grand finale of beautiful blooming fringed gentians. Buckhorn Creek, a tributary of the Shiawassee River, is a lively little stream bordered by elderberry and shrubby cinquefoil that meanders through the preserve from south to north.
Be sure to check out the large scarlet oak trees on the east side of the preserve.
